The woman was travelling on a two-wheeler with her husband when the accident occurred near D-Mart in Malakpet. According to eyewitnesses, the couple had stopped at a traffic signal. When the signal turned green, they started moving, but the man reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

The woman slipped off the two-wheeler and fell on the road, coming under the rear wheels of a bus. She sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.
