Hyderabad: The Helping Hand Foundation along with the Jalpally municipality took up a massive sanitation exercise in Osmannagar and its surroundings on Saturday.
The initiative was taken up following piling of garbage and water stagnation in the colonies around Osmannagar due to recent rains. Helping Hand Foundation, president, Mujtaba Hassan Askari, said the area was prone to vector borne diseases and several families were affected. Dengue kits comprising mosquito repellants and nets were also distributed.
The Foundation runs a primary health center in Masjid Omar Shifa in Saif colony at Osmannagar where around 100 people visit to avail outpatient treatment.
