Hyderabad: Nigerian caught with drugs at Punjagutta
Acting on a tip off, the team caught Daniel Ayotunde Olamide (33) who is staying in Friends colony in Shaikpet. His associate John Paul (37) of Delhi is absconding.
Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (south) team caught a Nigerian for possessing cocaine and selling it to addicts, and seized 4 gm of cocaine and a Honda Activa scooter from him.
Acting on a tip off, the team caught Daniel Ayotunde Olamide (33) who is staying in Friends colony in Shaikpet. His associate John Paul (37) of Delhi is absconding.
According to the police, Daniel came to the city on student visa and pursuing a degree course from a private college in Kukatpally. During his stay in the city, the suspect came in contact with John Paul who was already into drug peddling.
“Both of them decided to sell drugs and earn money. John supplied the drugs to Daniel who was selling it to drug addicts in the city,” said DCP Task Force, Gummi Chakravarthy.
On information, the police laid a trap at GVK Mall in Punjagutta and caught him. The man along with the property was handed over to Punjagutta police station for further action.
