Hyderabad: Nine cars crash into each other on ORR, five suffer injuries

As per available information, the incident occurred when the driver of car which was driven quite speedily applied sudden brakes. As a result, the cars behind it collided with each other.

Hyderabad: Atleast five persons suffered injuries after nine speeding cars crashed into each other on the Outer Ring Road in Rajendranagar on the city outskirts on Monday morning.

As per available information, the incident occurred when the driver of car which was driven quite speedily applied sudden brakes. As a result, the cars behind it collided with each other.


Due to the incident, there was traffic congestion on the road, bringing vehicular traffic to a standstill for atleast 2 kilometres distance.

On receiving information, the Rajendranagar police and ORR personnel reached the spot and removed the cars involved in the crash from the road and cleared the traffic.

Those injured in the accident were shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
