Hyderabad: NSS orientation programme for freshers at MLRIT
Secretary Marri Rajashekar Reddy advised volunteers to serve the society using NSS platform which connects them with people facing various problems in villages
Hyderabad: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of MLR Institute of technology on Saturday organized an orientation programme for the fresh batch of student volunteers. MLR Institute of Technology chairman Marri Laxman Reddy attended the programme and urged the volunteers to work hard and serve the people.
Secretary Marri Rajashekar Reddy advised volunteers to serve the society using NSS platform which connects them with people facing various problems in villages. He also asked volunteers to create awareness on the problems using latest technologies, and various state and central government schemes.
Principal Dr K Srinivas Rao motivated students to work on the social issues which people were facing and come up with a possible solution.
Head of the Departments Dr Radhika Devi, Dr Satyanarayana Gupta, Dr SVS Prasad, Dr Kiran Kumar, Dr Narsimha Rao, Dr Venkateshwar Reddy, Dr Sudhakar, NSS Program Officer Nayani Uday Ranjan Goud, faculty coordinators and student volunteers participated in the event.
