Hyderabad: NTPC organises cleanliness campaign as part of its ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ intiative

Hyderabad: As part of the nationwide Swachhta Hi Seva initiative, the NTPC Southern Region headquarters here organized a comprehensive cleanliness campaign aimed at raising awareness about cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces.
The campaign saw participation from NTPC employees, GHMC authorities, police personnel and Gandhi Hospital officials and staff.
The event commenced with a signature campaign where employees pledged their commitment to maintain cleanliness, after which all participants took a Swachhta pledge.
A Swachhta rally was organized, which commenced from the NTPC Secunderabad Office and concluded at Gandhi Hospital. During the rally, participants raised slogans to promote the Swachhta Hi Sewa campaign.
The rally saw participation from officers of GHMC, local police personnel, and NTPC employees.
Upon reaching Gandhi Hospital, NTPC employees actively participated in a cleanliness drive within the hospital premises. The drive was conducted in collaboration with Gandhi Hospital officials, ensuring the hospital grounds were cleaned and maintained.
As a goodwill gesture, NTPC handed over a set of dustbins to Gandhi Hospital with an initiative to provide sustainable tools to maintain cleanliness within the hospital premises.
SN Panigrahi, GM(HR), Rohit Chabbra, GM (COMM) and Suresh Venkatesh, GM(OS) among others were present.
