Hyderabad: A 20-year-old nurse allegedly died by suicide by hanging in her room in Miyapur on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as Soni, who was working at a private hospital in the city.
According to preliminary information, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan in the room where she was staying.
On receiving information, the Miyapur police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the hospital for autopsy.
Based on a complaint lodged by her brother, a case has been registered and being investigated.
Police said efforts are being made to ascertain the reasons that led to the extreme step.
