Hyderabad: The South Zone Task Force along with the Amberpet police arrested the Human Resources manager of a nursing home on charges of illegally selling Remdesivir injections here on Saturday. He sold each injection vial at prices ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000. Police seized four injection vials from him.
The arrested person was J Anil Kumar (24), who was working with a nursing home in Uppal and hailed from Peddapalli district. Based on a tip-off, the Task Force and Amberpet police nabbed Anil Kumar and seized the injection vials from him.
The Amberpet police booked a case and have taken up further investigation.
