Hyderabad: The Odisha Food and Craft Mela 2026, a three-day cultural extravaganza showcasing the rich traditions, art, crafts, cuisine and performing arts of Odisha, opened at Shilparamam here on Friday, bringing together artists, artisans and food lovers under one roof.

The mela features over 30 craft stalls displaying authentic Odisha handlooms, handicrafts and traditional artworks, along with 20 food stalls offering a wide variety of authentic Odia delicacies.


Cultural programmes during the event include classical and folk performances such as Odissi, Kathak, Sambalpuri and tribal folk dances. The audience will also witness a special performance by the famous Prince Dance Group. Renowned singers Amrita Nayak and Iswari Behera, along with several other talented singers and dancers, will enthral the audience with their performances.

The Odisha Food and Craft Mela 2026 promises to be a vibrant platform to promote Odisha’s cultural heritage, strengthen community bonding and offer a memorable experience for visitors of all age groups.
