Hyderabad: The IDA Bollaram police have arrested a 26-year-old man for the murder of his friend over an old grudge at Khazipally village.
The case was solved within two days.
The victim, Dipan Thapa, a native of Nepal, was found dead with head injuries in an isolated area near GMR Colony on February 4. Police investigation revealed that the suspect, V Dileep, had planned the murder following a dispute while consuming alcohol.
Police said Dileep had lured Dipan to a secluded place on the pretext of drinking together and allegedly killed him by hitting him with a stone.
