Hyderabad: One killed, another injured in ORR crash near Shamirpet
One person died and another suffered serious injuries after a DCM vehicle rammed into a stationary container truck on the Outer Ring Road near Shamirpet on Monday. Rescue teams conducted an operation to free a trapped victim, while police launched an investigation.
Hyderabad: A person was killed, and another suffered serious injuries in a horrific road accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamirpet on Monday.
The accident occurred when a DCM vehicle travelling from Keesara towards Medchal rammed into a stationary container truck from behind.
The impact was so severe that one of the victims got trapped inside the mangled cabin, prompting rescue teams to launch an operation to pull him out.
On receiving information, the Shamirpet Police staff rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
