Hyderabad: One killed, five injured as truck rams into car on ORR near Adibatla
A truck rammed into a stationary car on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road near Adibatla around 2 am Tuesday, killing one person and injuring five others. Police registered a case and are probing the accident.
Hyderabad: A fatal road accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) claimed one life and left five others critically injured at Adibatla on the suburb on Tuesday.
The mishap occurred around 2am, between Raviryal Exit-13 and Bongulur Exit-12 under Adibatla police station limits.
As per available information, the car was reportedly halted on the ORR when a speeding truck crashed into it from behind. The impact was severe, resulting in the immediate death of one occupant while five others suffered grievous multiple injuries.
The injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital for emergency treatment. The Adibatla police have registered a case and are probing the circumstances that led to the accident.
Further details regarding the victim and injured are yet to be confirmed. Traffic on the busy stretch was briefly disrupted before normalcy was restored.
