Hyderabad: Organs of 47-year-old man donated to Jeevandan

Bhaskar met with a road accident on November 7 and was declared as brain dead on November 9. The victim’s wife Rani gave consent to donate organs of the deceased. A total of three organs including liver and two kidneys are donated to three needy patients.

Hyderabad: Family members of a 47-year-old private employee Sangishettti Bhaskar, resident of Vidyanagar, Chityala, Nalgonda, who was declared as brain dead by attending team of doctors have decided to donate organs to needy patients.

Bhaskar met with a road accident on November 7 and was declared as brain dead on November 9. The victim’s wife Rani gave consent to donate organs of the deceased. A total of three organs including liver and two kidneys are donated to three needy patients.


Jeevandan Telangana extends its profound gratitude to Sangishettti Bhaskar’s family, whose noble decision has saved lives and inspiration. The Jeevandan Programme remains dedicated to raising awareness and facilitating organ donation in Telangana.

The Jeevandan Programme of Telangana has reached a significant milestone with 153 brain-dead donations recorded in this year, and today was the 154th donation, in-charge Jeevandan, Dr Sree Bhushan Raju said.
