Hyderabad: Osmania University main gate to remain open until 9 pm
Currently, the main gates of the university are closed at 8 pm; with this new decision, an additional hour will be provided for the movement of vehicles
Hyderabad: The main gates of the Osmania University (OU) will remain open until 9 pm. OU Vice-Chancellor Prof Kumar Molugaram took this decision as per the requests of the faculty, staff and students.
Currently, the main gates of the university are closed at 8 pm, but with this new decision, an additional hour will be provided for the movement of vehicles.
OU authorities have also decided to provide some flexibility in the morning and evening for pedestrian movement that has been provided through the Ravindra Nagar pedestrian gate, located towards the Ramanthapur side.
The university took this decision considering the construction activities taking place on the campus and to ensure that children of workers residing on campus can go to school during school hours.
