Hyderabad: The Department of Commerce, Osmania University, in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), conducted a one-day faculty development programme (FDP) on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on Thursday.

The programme aimed at equipping faculty members with the latest updates in IFRS, ensuring that they, in turn, enrich students with contemporary financial reporting knowledge.


OU Registrar Prof. G Naresh Reddy said keeping pace with global financial reporting standards was crucial for academia to bridge the gap between theory and industry practices.

ACCA Education Partner Relationships – India Head Prabhanshu Mittal, Department of Commerce Head Prof. G. Gangadhar and others participated.
