Hyderabad: Pan shop owner brutally attacked by group in Attapur
A pan shop owner in Attapur was brutally attacked by a group of men after refusing to sell cigarettes late at night. The injured man was rescued by passers-by and shifted to hospital. Police have registered a case.

Hyderabad: A pan shop owner was brutally attacked on a public road by a group of people in the early hours of Thursday at Attapur Road.
The man, Waseem, who runs a panshop near Armaan Hotel, when around 3 am, the man was sitting near his shop. “Two to three individuals came and asked for a cigarette. When I told them the shop was closed, they abused me and went away. A few minutes later, 8 to 10 people came and beat me with lathis brutally, leading to severe injuries,” Waseem told the police.
Some people who were passing on the road intervened and saved the man from the attackers and informed the police about it. The injured person was shifted to a nearby private hospital. The Attapur police registered a case and are investigating.
