Hyderabad: For parents who were fans of the Panchatantra stories and want to introduce their children to the amazing characters, especially all the animals from the fables, here is a theme park being developed in New Bolaram by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
The lung space spread over 900 square yards is equipped with games and recreational facilities exclusively for children. The park is located in Railway Employees Colony, New Bolarum, and will be made available soon.
Unlike the regular parks in the city, this facility will introduce Panchatantra Stories to the children through a jungle multi-play station, which has replicas of animals. The crawl between the two sandpits through the caterpillar tunnel, a run through the walkways which is in the shape of the dog’s paw, and then slide over the giraffe have already turned into a hit among the locals with several families visiting the park along with kids even before the facility is officially inaugurated.
These recreational facilities are in addition to swings and customized fruit-shaped benches designed for children. The slides in the shape of animals further deck up the place making it a good recreational place.
The GHMC has also clubbed the recreational facility with education. The wall paintings at the park are educational and an outdoor animal-themed classroom has also been built. Leaving no stone unturned, even the dustbins installed are also in the shape of animals.
Meanwhile, for adults, forest theme benches are in place.
V Mamatha, Zonal Commissioner (Kukatpally) tweeted pictures of the new facility being developed on Sunday.
