Hyderabad: A passenger who tried to open the cover plate of the emergency exit door in a flight was booked by the RGI Airport police for ‘endangering human life’ and ‘public nuisance’.

The man identified as Saurab Kumar Challbey, from Bihar boarded the Hyderabad to Varanasi flight at RGI Airport. In the aircraft, the man tried to open cover plate when on noticing it the crew informed about it to the Pilot in Command (PIC) who declared the passenger as unruly.

A complaint was made at the RGI Airport by the airlines and the man taken into custody. The police registered a case.

The man told the police that he wanted to check the emergency exit door out of curiosity.
