Hyderabad: The Concept Art and Photo Exhibition organised by the TRS at the party’s plenary session proved to be a big hit with participants as many queued up to check the rare pictures showcased in the exhibition.
The exhibition featured rare pictures of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao taking oath as the first Chief Minister of Telangana. It also had picture of the Chief Minister’s school in Chintamadaka, Dubbak constituency, his group photographs with teachers and other students, addressing the gathering after the formation of TRS party on April 27, 2001 and several other images that triggered nostalgia among the delegates.
“It is impressive and interesting. There is a picture which even shows details of the Chief Minister’s roll number in the school. Apart from such rare pictures, there are also pictures showcasing the Telangana’s development in the past seven years,” Sudheer, a party leader from Nalgonda, told Telangana Today.
In all, about 1,500 pictures depicting the Statehood movement, transformation of the State from a drought prone region to lush green fields across the State and important events have been put together at the exhibition.
