Hyderabad photojournalist Shamsuddin to cover Asian Games in Japan

Hyderabad-based sports photojournalist and SNAPS India Editor Mohammad Shamsuddin will cover the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya in Japan. His international assignments include the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, for which he received the Associate of the Royal Photographic Society distinction

Hyderabad: SNAPS India Editor and sports photojournalist Mohammad Shamsuddin of Hyderabad will cover the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya in Japan.

Shamsuddin has represented Telangana and India through his work as a sports photojournalist at major international sporting events across the globe. His international assignments include the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where his photographic work received recognition from the Royal Photographic Society (RPS).

In recognition of his photography at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Shamsuddin received the Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) distinction. Founded in 1853, the Royal Photographic Society is one of the world’s oldest photographic societies.

The presentation of the RPS recognition took place in London on September 19, 2025, marking an important milestone in Shamsuddin’s international photographic career.
