Hyderabad: A 28-year-old physiotherapist was found dead in her house in a suspected suicide case in Suraram on Saturday.
The woman, identified as B Anita, a resident of Sai Baba Nagar in Krushi Colony, was working at a private hospital in LB Nagar. Her mother Ramadevi was recently hospitalised in Suraram after suffering a hand fracture following a fall.
Police said Anita stayed at home during the day while her father, Raja Mallaiah, remained with her mother at the hospital during nights.
On Saturday morning, when repeated phone calls from her father went unanswered, he alerted the neighbours. They broke open the door and found her hanging from a ceiling fan in the bedroom.
Based on a complaint from her father, the Suraram police booked a case and are investigating.
