Hyderabad: Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) is all set to hold its fifth convocation ceremony online on April 17. The online event will be held at the university’s auditorium in the presence of its Chancellor and Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan. While NITI Aayog member Professor Ramesh Chand is going to be the Chief Guest and will deliver the convocation address, Dr V Praveen Rao, PJTSAU Vice Chancellor will present the university report.
Apart from faculty, graduates of the year and their parents, members of the Board of Management, Academic Council and invited guests will also be present at the event. In this event, which is being conducted online for the first time, certificates will be given to 21 PhD, 148 MSc., 1 MTech and 517 undergraduate students. 29 students will also receive gold medals for their academic excellence. Dr Rao, along with Dr S Sudheer Kumar, the Registrar of the university, inspected the arrangements for the convocation ceremony on Thursday.
