Hyderabad: The Uppal police arrested a jilted lover who attacked his girlfriend in a moving bus with a knife on Thursday.

The 20-year-old girl and the suspect who belonged to the same village in Yadadri-Bhongir allegedly were in a relationship. However, the girl has been avoiding him for the past some days over unknown reasons.

Based on a complaint, the Uppal police booked a case and arrested him.
