Hyderabad Police arrests suspect in Maisamma Temple vandalism case
Hyderabad Police arrested a suspect in connection with the vandalism at Puranapul Darwaza Maisamma Temple late Thursday night. The accused allegedly damaged a flexi banner and a POP idol and was nabbed within 24 hours by the Kamatipura police.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police have arrested the suspect involved in the vandalism incident at the Puranapul Darwaza Maisamma Temple on Thursday late night.
The accused, whose identity was not revealed by the police officials had allegedly damaged a flexi banner and a POP idol placed in the temple veranda.
Police said the suspect was identified and nabbed within 24 hours of the incident by the Kamatipura Police.
The accused is being interrogated as part of the ongoing investigation to gather further evidence.
The swift operation was carried out under the direct supervision of V.C.Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, officials said.
