Hyderabad police bust fake Karachi mehandi racket

Hyderabad police raided a house in Bandlaguda and seized large quantities of illegal Karachi mehandi. Mohd Abdul Waseem, the accused, was manufacturing the cheap, unsafe product for market supply, raising consumer safety concerns

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force raided a house at Bandlaguda where duplicate ‘Karachi mehandi’ was being manufactured. The police seized a large quantity of the material from the place.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a house at Ghousenagar in Bandlaguda police station area and caught Mohd Abdul Waseem, who was illegally manufacturing Karachi mehandi. The duplicate product was manufactured using cheap ingredients, said the police.
