Hyderabad: Former DGP of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, H J Dora’s passing away drew tributes from police officials and colleagues who remembered him as a distinguished officer and a compassionate leader.
Condoling the death, Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar said Dora was among the finest officers he had the privilege of knowing and working with. He recalled sharing the dais with the former police chief at a private event in December last year, describing it as a memorable moment.
“Dora served as the head of the police force in Andhra Pradesh during a critical phase when Naxal activity was at its peak. Despite the challenging circumstances, his leadership and policy initiatives helped strengthen the force and boost morale,” Sajjanar said.
