Hyderabad police conducts cordon and search operation at Mangalhat, seize LPG cylinders and liquor
Hyderabad police conducted a cordon and search operation in Mangalhat early on Saturday, seizing LPG cylinders, liquor from belt shops, and undocumented vehicles. Nearly 200 policemen participated in the drive covering several Dhoolpet localities under the supervision of DCP Golconda.
Hyderabad: A cordon and search operation was conducted by the Hyderabad police at Mangalhath in the city early on Saturday.
The police seized 10 LPG domestic gas cylinders, 7 commercial LPG cylinders, and 79 small LPG cylinders from houses while 41 liters of beer and 8 liters of whiskey were seized from ‘belt shops’.
The police also seized 15 small cylinders from three auto-rickshaws, and also 28 two-wheelers were seized as the owners failed to present the documents.
Around 200 policemen under supervision of DCP (Golconda) B Chandra Mohan participated in the operation in which areas such as Upper Dhoolpet, Tuckerwadi, Lal Bhavan, Jingur Basti, and other surrounding localities were covered.
