Hyderabad: The Hyderabad city police, in coordination with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) on Wednesday deported a Nigerian who was allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
The man, Onuorah Solomon Chibueze (46), a native of Anamra State in Nigeria, came to India on a medical visa on August 14 and stayed in New Delhi.
According to the police, a year ago, Solomon came to Hyderabad and took a house on rent at Attapur, Rajendranagar, and started procuring ganja from Pune and Mumbai. He was selling it to customers and using the money for his personal purposes.
The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (HNEW) caught him at Tolichowki while he was moving in a suspicious manner. On an inquiry, it was found that his visa had expired in 2016 and he was staying illegally in the city.
The police informed Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Hyderabad, who arranged documents and, with the help of the police, deported Solomon to his native place.
