Hyderabad police grill Dr Namrata in surrogacy racket case

Hyderabad: The Gopalapuram police are questioning Dr Pachipala Namrata in connection with the surrogacy scam case for the second consecutive day.
A local court on Thursday granted five-day police custody of Dr Namrata, the prime accused in the surrogacy scam case.
On Saturday, the police took Dr Namrata from the Special Prison for Women, Chanchalguda, for questioning. She was arrested along with a few others for running a fake surrogacy racket and cheating childless couples.
