Hyderabad police hunt Koti ATM robbers in Uttar Pradesh

Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force teams conducted raids in Uttar Pradesh with the help of local police to arrest robbers involved in the Koti ATM robbery, in which a businessman was shot and Rs 6 lakh was looted last week.

Hyderabad: The teams of the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force conducted raids at multiple places in Uttar Pradesh with the assistance of the local police to nab the robbers involved in the robbery at Bank Street, Koti, last week.

The robbers, one of whom was identified as a notorious robber from Uttar Pradesh, had fired and injured a businessman who had come to deposit cash at an ATM centre at Koti. Afterwards, they snatched away a cash bag containing Rs 6 lakh and escaped.


The gang moved around the city for the whole day by switching auto rickshaws and then disappeared. A local person from Chandrayangutta was taken into custody by the police for assisting the robbers.
