Hyderabad: The city police have imposed restrictions around SSC public examination centres to ensure the smooth conduct of exams which are scheduled from March 14 to April 16.

Police Commissioners of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri have issued separate orders prohibiting gatherings of five or more persons within a 200-metre radius of all examination centres. The restrictions will be in force from 6 am on March 14 to 6 pm on April 16.

Authorities also directed photocopy and internet centres located within 100 metres of the exam venues to remain closed during the examination period to prevent malpractice.

However, the order exempts police and military personnel on duty, home guards, education department flying squads and funeral processions.
