Hyderabad: Two special teams of the Hyderabad police are in northern parts of the country to hunt down the prime suspect allegedly involved in the murder of Sardar Satnam Singh a hotel owner at Chikkadpally.
The hotel owner was killed on March 31 at his house in Suryanagar when his wife and son were away. On March 10, his family had gone to a Gurudwara at Gowliguda and was staying there. The police suspect that a person named Nishath Singh (18) who worked at the hotel of Satnam Singh and stayed at his house, might be involved as he has gone missing since the murder. The assailant had brutally slit the throat of Satnam Singh with a sharp edge weapon.
The police having checked a few locations in the city in hope of nabbing the suspect, now believe the suspect could have escaped and is hiding in northern States. “We are coordinating with the local police there and hope to nab him soon,” said an official supervising the investigation.
