Hyderabad police issues traffic restrictions in view of Bathukamma celebrations
The Hyderabad city police have announced certain diversions and restrictions on a need basis depending on the local traffic conditions.
Hyderabad: There is likely to be a sluggish vehicular movement in certain main road on Tuesday in view of the Bathukamma festival celebration near Police Control Room, Legislative Assembly, and Upper Tank Bund between 4 pm and 11 pm.
The Hyderabad city police have also announced certain diversions and restrictions on a need basis depending on the local traffic conditions. Here are the restrictions or diversions:
Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Upper tank bund will be diverted towards Telugu Thalli flyover. The traffic coming from V.V. Statue and Khairatabad Flyover towards NTR Marg will be diverted at Necklace rotary towards Prasad’s IMAX and Mint Compound Lane.
Traffic coming from Ranigunj towards PVNR Marg (Necklace road) will be diverted at Nallagutta “X” roads towards Minister Road.
Similarly, traffic coming from Minister Road towards PVNR Marg (Necklace road) will be diverted at Nallagutta “X” roads towards Ranigunj.
Traffic coming from Liberty towards upper tank bund will be diverted at Old Ambedkar Statue towards Iqbal minar. Vehicles coming from Secunderabad towards upper tank bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards Bible House.
Also, traffic coming from Dhobi Ghat towards Children’s park/Upper Tank bund will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda “X” roads.
Traffic coming from DBR Mills will be diverted at Kawadiguda “X” roads towards Jabbar Complex, CGO Towers and vehicles, coming from CGO Towers intending to go towards Sailing Club will be diverted at Kawadiguda “X” roads towards DBR Mills, Jabbar Complex.
All inter district RTC buses coming from Secunderabad towards MGBS via Tank Bund will be diverted at Sweekar – Upakar Junction towards YWCA – Sangeeth –Mettuguda – Tarnaka – Nallakunta – Fever Hospital “X” roads – Barkathpura – Tourist Hotel – Nimboli Adda – Chaderghat – Rang Mahal and MGBS.
City buses coming towards Tank bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards Bible House.
