Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police on Saturday launched ‘AI-CopWriter’, an AI-powered mobile app that enables police personnel to record, transcribe and translate complaints in 10 Indian languages in real time.

The application was unveiled by City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar at TGICCC in Banjara Hills. Officials said the app converts spoken complaints into FIR drafts within seconds, helping citizens file complaints in their mother tongue.

Police said the tool will improve efficiency, standardise records across police stations and reduce dependence on interpreters. The app was developed with support from Bluecloud Softech Solutions and the police IT Cell.
