Hyderabad police raid Banjara Hills brothel, arrest eight including organiser
Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force raided a brothel at Banjara Hills’ R Inn Hotel, arresting organiser Mohd Shareef and seven customers. Three women, including one from Uzbekistan, were rescued. Police say women were lured under pretext of salon jobs and forced into prostitution
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (west) team raided a brothel run from a hotel at Banjara Hills Road No 12 and arrested eight persons, including the organiser and seven customers. The police rescued three women victims, including one who is a native of Uzbekistan.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided ‘R Inn Hotel’ at Banjara Hills Road No 12. One person, Mohd Shareef (36), who runs Style Maker Salon, was organising prostitution in two rooms in the hotel.
“Shareef was hiring good-looking women by offering high salaries on the pretext of work in the salon and forcing them into prostitution,” said DCP Task Force, Y V S Sudheendra.
The seven customers who are from Kurnool were indulging in immorality when the police raided the hotel. The three women who were rescued were shifted to rescue home.
