Hyderabad police registers case on website for promoting terrorism
A city based advocate had filed a complaint with the police alleging that the website “thekhorasandiary.com”, is promoting terrorism and instigating people to attack members of the majority community in the country.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police registered a case against a website for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of a particular community and cyber terrorism.
A city based advocate had filed a complaint with the police alleging that the website “thekhorasandiary.com”, is promoting terrorism and instigating people to attack members of the majority community in the country.
Based on the complaint the police invoked 299 of BNS and 66(f)(2) of IT Act against the website and five other persons. The police are investigating.
