Hyderabad police rescue businessman abducted over Rs 10 crore dispute
A 44-year-old businessman was kidnapped at gunpoint in Miyapur over a Rs 10-crore dispute. Madhuranagar police rescued him from Ameerpet after his wife alerted police. Three suspects were caught, and the case was transferred to Miyapur police for investigation

Hyderabad: A businessman was kidnapped at gunpoint from Miyapur following a financial dispute with his business partners. He was later rescued by the Madhuranagar police at Ameerpet.
According to the police, three persons approached the businessman Manoj Kumar (44) at Miyapur while he was on a morning walk. The businessmen first took him to an office at Yellareddyguda and asked him to settle the issue of Rs 10 crore.
The kidnappers later took him to Ameerpet in a car and forced him to arrange the amount immediately. “Manoj Kumar called up his wife and asked her to arrange the amount. His wife informed the police on Dial 100 that her husband had been kidnapped. A police team raided the place where Manoj Kumar was held and rescued him,” said an official of Madhuranagar police station.
The police took into custody three persons who kidnapped Manoj Kumar. The Madhuranagar police registered a ‘zero FIR’ and transferred the case to Miyapur police for further investigation.
The incident happened two days ago, but came to light only on Wednesday evening.
