Hyderabad: The Abdullapurmet police reunited a missing child with his parents here on Saturday. Local residents of Inamguda village in Abdullapurmet mandal had called on Dial 100 at 9.30 pm on Friday and informed the police about the eight-year-old boy whom they found in the area.
Soon after being alerted, the Patrol Mobile staff reached the spot and took safe custody of the boy. He was immediately shifted to the police station, where the police tried to get details of his parents and his residence.
They started searching for his parents and enquired with local residents and those passing by on the roads and eventually, traced his parents. The cops handed over the boy to his parents at the police station on Saturday, with the parents thanking the officials for their swift response.
