Hyderabad: The city police intensified its efforts to nab four businessmen who went absconding after their names figured in the Tony drug case.
The businessmen, who are from the city, went underground after their links with Chukwu Ogbonna David alias Tony, who was arrested in connection with drug trafficking last month, came to light.
The police had already issued a Look out Circular (LoC) for the four businessmen and alerted airports and seaports in the country. The police believe they are hiding somewhere in the country and teams of Hyderabad police have already raided multiple places to nab them. The police had arrested seven businessmen for procuring drugs from Tony last month.
The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force also already nabbed six other associates of Tony who were helping him supply drug to customers.
The police are now analysing the Call Detail Records (CDR) of the mobile phones of all those who were caught in the case.
