Hyderabad police to get health check-ups, individual medical profiles
Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar announced that all city police personnel will undergo medical examinations and receive individual health profiles. The move aims to ensure timely treatment and welfare while strengthening the overall safety and efficiency of the force.

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, on Monday, announced that all police personnel under the Hyderabad Commissionerate will soon undergo medical examinations and have individual health profiles prepared to ensure their welfare and safety.
Further, based on medical reports, personnel will be classified into A, B, C, D and E categories, enabling timely care and treatment according to their health condition.
The commissioner made the announcement during the Republic Day celebrations held at the City Armed Reserve (CAR) Headquarters in Petlaburj, where he unfurled the national flag and received the guard of honour.
Extending Republic Day greetings to citizens and police personnel, he praised police personnel for their dedication to maintaining law and order during festivals and bandobust duties, often staying away from their families.
Highlighting the city’s tradition of communal harmony, the Commissioner urged citizens not to believe rumours on social media and to report information to the police through Dial 100.
The commissioner expressed condolences to the families of those who died in the recent Nampally furniture shop fire and commended the bravery of individuals who risked their lives during rescue efforts. He said the incident reflected Hyderabad’s spirit of unity and harmony.
