Hyderabad: Police visit houses of piligrims killed while returning from Kumbh Mela
The family members of the victims told the police that they came to know about the incident at around 10 am through some other relatives who had gone there

Hyderabad: A team of Nacharam police went to the houses of the pilgrims who were killed in the road accident involving a mini bus and a truck at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh while returning from Kumbh Mela.
The family members of the victims told the police that they came to know about the incident at around 10 am through some other relatives who had gone there. The relatives told the police that the group started from the city on Saturday and had taken the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on Monday.
They planned to return to the city, dropping plans to visit other places owing to huge rush there. On Tuesday around 9 am, the mini bus started for Hyderabad with nine people eight of whom are from Nacharam and the other from Ranga Reddy district when on way the accident took place between Mohla and Bargi villages under Sihora Police Station, Jabalpur district.
While seven members died, two of them got trapped in the van and were severely injured. Those who were killed are Anand Kansari, Shashi Kansari, Ravi Vaishya, TV Prasad, Mallareddy, Balakrishna Shri Ram and Raju, and the two injured are S Naveenacharya and V Santosh.
