Hyderabad: Principal of private school in AS Rao Nagar booked for sexually harassing girl students
The suspect B Nagender Rao, was sexually harassing and misbehaving with class ten students for the past some days, the students alleged.
Hyderabad: The Kushaiguda police registered a case against the principal of a private high school in AS Rao Nagar for allegedly sexually harassing girl students.
The suspect B Nagender Rao, was sexually harassing and misbehaving with class ten students for the past some days, the students alleged.
Unable to take more harassment, one girl student came forward and shared it with her family members, who lodged a complaint with the police.
Based on the complaint, the police booked a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and are investigating. No arrests have been made yet.
On learning about the incident, parents of several students and members of student organizations gathered at the school premises and staged a protest on Wednesday.
The police reached the spot and took the situation under control.
