Hyderabad: Private bus rams culvert in Jeedimetla; biker injured
A private bus lost control and crashed into a culvert at Shapur Nagar in Jeedimetla after the driver reportedly fell asleep. The bus first hit a two-wheeler, leaving the rider with severe head injuries. Police registered a case.
Hyderabad: A private bus created havoc, as its driver lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into the culvert at Shapur Nagar in Jeedimetla on Monday afternoon.
As per available information, the driver of the bus who reportedly dozed-off when the bus reached near Adarsh Bank, went on to first hit a two-wheeler moving on the road and plunged into a nearby culvert.
In this incident, the person on the bike suffered serious head injuries. He was immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital and is receiving treatment.
A case has been registered and an investigation has been initiated.
