Hyderabad Public School Ramanthapur holds Investiture Ceremony

The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, conducted its Investiture Ceremony, inducting newly elected student leaders for the academic year. The school also felicitated Padma Shri awardee and distinguished alumnus Dr G V Rao, who inspired students with his message on leadership and ethics.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, held its Investiture Ceremony, formally inducting the newly elected student prefects for the academic year.

On the occasion, the school felicitated its distinguished alumnus Dr G V Rao, Director of AIG Hospitals and Chief of Surgical Gastroenterology, on his receiving the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honours. Addressing the students, Dr Rao highlighted the importance of discipline, compassion, perseverance, and ethical decision-making in shaping future leaders.

The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial oath-taking, where the newly appointed Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Deputy Captains, Prefects, and members of the student prefectorial board pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the institution while fulfilling their responsibilities with dedication and sincerity.

Dr S Narsimha Reddy, Principal, The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, and President of HPS Society, Gusti J Noria, also addressed the students.
