Hyderabad: The two-day International pulmonology conference and live workshop on ‘Bronchscopy Basics to Advanced’ of Yashoda Hospitals concluded here on Sunday.
The conference, which featured over 400 young pulmonologists from across the country, featured live workshops and discussions on advancements in the field of intervention pulmonology, according to a press release. Yashoda Hospital’s ‘IP Mentor’ is a series of workshops aimed at enhancing the skill set of young pulmonologists and the conference focussed on best practices in rigid bronchoscopy from basics to the advanced diagnostics and therapeutics.
“Our IP mentor workshop series is targeted to provide tangible benefits and networking opportunities to current Pulmonologists and also aims to enhance their skills through dedicated workshops,” Dr. Pavan Gorukanti, Director, Yashoda Hospitals Group, said.
The first day of the workshop was tailored to impart basic knowledge with respect to Rigid Bronchoscopy and associated modalities like Cryomodalities and hot therapies in Interventional Pulmonology with lectures and workstations and on the second day, experts focused on advanced aspects of Rigid Bronchoscopy and therapeutics with evidence based approaches through sessions and case based approach followed by workstations on animal models, said Dr. Viswesvaran Balasubramanian, Senior Interventional Pulmonologist, Yashoda Hospitals Malakpet.
