Hyderabad: Punjab National Bank holds financial literacy camps

Hyderabad: As part of celebrating 75 years of India’s independence, the Punjab National Bank (PNB) is organising financial literacy camps from July 15 to 31 across its branches to create awareness among people about its products and services.
On the occasion, the PNB, circle office in Hyderabad organised the first camp at Santoshnagar, which was inaugurated by Zonal Manager, Sanjeevan Nikhar in the presence of Hyderabad Circle Head, NVS Prasad Reddy and DPO GHMC, D Yogender Reddy.
“We are proud to inform that PNB has won the Special Commemorative Award from NABARD because of our continuous performance in the areas of priority sector and financial inclusion. We are conducting financial literacy camps titled ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ across India, aimed to cover all the eligible customers under the Govt social security schemes,” Nikhar said.
Head of Hyderabad Circle, PNB, Prasad Reddy said that the bank’s efforts have been recognized by NABARD, which is an encouragement and to work more towards financial inclusion and making rural India a better and developing place. Senior officials from the local PNB branches in Hyderabad circle were present.
