Hyderabad: A major tragedy was averted in Puppalaguda of Manikonda, after a 35-ft long mud wall collapsed on Thursday late night, due to heavy downpour.
The collapse of a temple wall buried three adjoining houses under debris, but fortunately, there was no loss of life as no one was inside the houses at the time.
The temple committee had constructed the wall in 2008 for the protection of the temple, but it gave way amid torrential rainfall.
