Hyderabad: Railway police arrest thief, recover gold worth Rs 2.9 lakh

GRP and RPF arrested 25-year-old Mohd Sanidul Islam for targeting railway passengers. He was linked to two theft cases in November. Police recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 2.9 lakh. The investigation into possible further thefts is ongoing

Hyderabad: The Government Railway Police (GRP), along with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), arrested a thief targeting rail passengers and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 2.9 lakh on Monday.

Police said Mohd Sanidul Islam (25) was involved in two theft cases in November this year.

Following the complaint, the railway police traced and nabbed him.
