Hyderabad: A decades-old building in Feelkhana, Begum Bazar, collapsed on Thursday due to heavy rains. A major accident was averted as none of the residents were living in the building.
The Begum Bazar corporator, G. Shankar Yadav, told Telangana Today that the GHMC had already served notices on the old structure. A cycle showroom used to operate in the building, and after the GHMC alerted, it became vacant.
