Hyderabad: Readymix truck rams into two girl students at bus stop, triggers protest

Bhavani and Gayatri, residents of Antayapally village in Shamirpet, were waiting at the bus stop for a bus to their college when a readymix truck crashed into them. Both sustained injuries and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Hyderabad: Two girl students were injured when a readymix truck hit them at Shamirpet on Monday morning.

The girls Bhavani and Gayatri, residents of Antayapally village, Shamirpet were waiting at the bus stop for a bus to go to the college, when a ready mix truck rammed into them.


The two girls sustained injuries and were rushed to a local hospital.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and launched an investigation.

The villagers who were angered over the incident staged a protest on the road and blocked the traffic demanding action against the driver. The police managed to pacify and dispersed them.
